Welcome to the Professional Development area of the VET_GPS project, where you can have access to the Programme for Professional Development of Trainers/Tutors allowing them to get inspired in preparing and providing activities and tools in their daily training classes, fostering the acquisition and development of soft skills by their trainees.

In this area you will find a training course for VET professionals and a soft skills guide to support you in the design, implementation and assessment of strategies, activities and tools to be implemented in your training classes.

Guide for VET Providers

Guide addressed to VET managers, allowing them to define the strategy and methodologies to support trainers, counsellors and trainees in the assessment, development and consolidation of trainees’ soft skills.

Guidance and Coaching Toolkit

In this section the consortium provides a set of tools and supporting materials to support counsellors and trainees in the assessment, development and consolidation of trainees’ soft skills. This toolkit includes:

Training Course

A Programme for Professional Development of VET managers, trainers and counsellors, allowing them to design and implement strategies and activities for the acquisition and development of trainees’ soft skills. A set of exercises and activities is also provided trainers, to be used in their daily classes.

VET and Business Cooperation

e-Booklet with the identification of quality standards with indicators and examples of good practices for the establishment, reinforcement and maintenance of VET-Business Cooperation in VET system. A special focus is on the:
1. Strategies and initiatives to support VET providers in the identification of the soft skills considered as more relevant for companies;
2. Local partnerships to be established in local organisations to support the development of trainees’ soft skills
